Isaiah Shorter
Donation protected
This young man could use some support from the Warwick Youth Football League family.
Isaiah Shorter is the son of Tim and Nancy Shorter. Isaiah and Tim are longtime members of the Red Rose League family. Isaiah is a player for the Mountville Black Knights, while his father, Tim, is the Football Commissioner for the Mountville Youth Athletic Association.
Isaiah was diagnosed Sun9/25/17 with a brain tumor. Two days later, he underwent surgery where 80% of the tumor was removed. The surgeon said the tumor is unidentified and everything depends on figuring out what they are dealing with and if tumor will be responsive. That said, there is a high chance that the tumor is malignant, but for now things are stable and the pressure is off the brain.
Isaiah is one of six children. As you can imagine things are happening fast, but the road will be a long one for Isaiah and his family. Isaiah has good medical insurance, which is a blessing! However, there are needs which medical insurance simply does not cover. Isaiah's parents will need to take unpaid time off of work and unexpected expenses associated with treatment and recovery are inevitable.
Please consider contributing to this campaign. All funds raised will benefit Isaiah and his family by covering unexpected expenses and income gaps associated with Isaiah's care. Our hope is to lessen an already difficult burden for the Shorter family.
