Ismael Castelan's Accident Fund

My brother Ismael Castelan needs your help! Ismael is part of the City of Santa Ana's Public Works Tree Crew and he was recently involved in a horrific, on-the-job accident. While Ismael was working on a median at 17th and Bristol Streets in Santa Ana, a car jumped the curb and struck him, pinning him between it and his city vehicle. Ismael suffered catastrphic injuries as a result. We have been keeping vigil as my brother has undergone over 20 surgeries and more than 160 pints of blood in transfusions, but he remains in ICU. Our family is grateful for the many doctors and nurses who are working tirelessly to keep Ismael alive, but we will be faced with much financial hardship . We do not know what the road to Ismael's recovery will look like, but we hope for the best. Ismael is a very selfless guy who appreciates the company of others and is very loved. This tragic accident could have happened to anyone and we ask for any support possible, including well wishes, positive thoughts, and prayers. Thank you for all the love for Ismael.
