Our family has experienced an unexpected life changing event that will forever change the lives of Mel, Ainsley and Dorian. We are asking for support for travel expenses, gas, groceries and day to day living expenses.
On Dec 23, 2017 my brother J (or Jonathan, Jon, Sarge ect...) age 42 was life flighted to the Univ of Maryland Medical Center, in Baltimore and suffered a rupture of his aortic valve. He endured 2 long surgeries and has been in the process of healing.
Initially the doctors advised us that it would take some time for J to wake up. And days have turned into weeks. J has endured some brain damage and the extent is unknown.
Family has been with him everyday, waiting for J to wake up. Mel will not be returning to work anytime soon and she is doing her best to make sure that Ainsley and Dorian have some normalcy. The support has been wonderful but has taken a toll on emotions and finances.
My family and I cannot thank you enough for all of the support, prayers and well wishes. We know that J will wake up and feels all the love around him. Thanks again and remeber to STAY POSITIVE BABY!!!
