Ethan Schmidt Memorial Fund

Ethan Schmidt never knew a stranger. He grew up in the small town of Peabody, KS which he loved being a part of as many of us did that grew up there.  He was an avid  KU Jayhawk fan and loved spending time with his family and his wife and kids. He was full of life and was very passionate about his career, currently in the education field as a professor at Delta State University in Mississippi .  Ethan lost his life suddenly to a senseless act in a campus shooting.

I am Laurie Welch a longtime friend of the Ethan Schmidt family and grew up in Peabody, KS with Ethan. I am setting up this fund raiser to raise money for his 3 children to use for their future college education.  Any help you can give is much appreciated and I know his wife and children would appreciate it. All funds raised will be accessed by his wife Elizabeth Schmidt, the beneficiary of this account for Ethan's 3 young children.
