"THE PROMISE" with Ken Kercheval

Donation protected
Hello friends, fans and possible supporters. We are so proud to announce that our feature length romantic comedy, "The Promise" is going to be back in production this fall. This is a film very near and dear to our hearts. We have been patiently waiting for GOD to give us the green light to bring this film to our DREAMS COME TRUE FILMS fans and supporters.

It was just confirmed moments ago when I personally spoke with DALLAS icon, Ken Kercheval on the
telephone from his Los Angels home, that he will in fact return to his roots to portray Dr. Christopher Webber. Ken is a Clinton, Indiana native and that is where we lived when this film was shot in 2012. Sadly, we had some folks on our production team that did not have our best interest at heart, and long story short, we had to make the heartbreaking decision to re-film this family friendly romantic comedy. Otherwise we could not be taken seriously as filmmakers. But rather than dwell on the negative of the past, we look forward to shinning in the future.

THE PROMISE tells the story of 20 something Mackenzie who made a promise to her grandmother Violet just before Grandma passed away. That promise was to always be there for Grandpa and never place him in a nursing home. She also promised that she would never date/ marry a man that Grandpa did not approve of. Well how can Grandpa approve or disapprove unless he first meets Mackenzie's suitors? Right? So Mackenzie brings her dates home to meet the most precious man in her life, but Grandpa is mischievous and he does not intend to see his only grandchild marry and go away, leaving him all alone.

This is a heartwarming film about finding Mr. Right, forgiving those who hurt you, family, and forgiveness. This is a film so different from any DREAMS COME TRUE FILMS project you have ever seen or read about. It will warm your heart & tickle your funny bone.

We need your help. If you would like to make a donation of any amount it is greatly appreciated and all donors will
receive recognition as a contributor on our Facebook page and in our rolling credits. At a certain level of giving, some will even receive an autographed picture of our DALLAS icon, Ken Kercheval, as your donation will help pay for Ken's trip from L.A.

Supporters who give $40 or more will also become an Associate Producer of our film and some donors giving more will receive Co-Executive Producer credit in our film as well as a free signed copy. So there are incentives for your contribution. Plus you will get a warm fuzzy feeling in your heart for helping to bring this film to life. GOD bless you for reading about our campaign, and please pray about helping an indie filmmaker reach her dreams. If you cannot donate, please would you consider sharing this campaign for us?
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.

Remember our motto: "We'll make movies that you'll want to see."
