Project Turkey

The Greek Life community at East Stroudsburg University is uniting to raise $7,500 which would provide turkeys/thanksgiving baskets to about 600 families in the Monroe County area of Pennsylvania, and we NEED your help!
We ask you to remember how many Thanksgiving celebrations you have had, and consider giving a family in need that same memory.
Thanksgiving dinner without a turkey is just a dinner and sadly, for many families in Monroe County, having a turkey on Thanksgiving is just a dream, when the simple act of putting dinner on the table every night is a struggle.
The dream of providing a turkey on Thanksgiving for a child whose classmates are surely having a traditional dinner seems too far out of reach. For an impoverished child, being able to experience a hearty celebration of thanks is a true blessing.
The gift of a turkey at Thanksgiving helps families to feel that they are part of a caring community, one that cares. Please help us give underprivileged families in Monroe County a Thanksgiving dinner to remember!
