Jack needs 2 surgeries an ACL & FHO
Donation protected
Meet Jack.
He is our newest rescue at SSCDR. Jack is an 8 yr old male Westie.
Jack has a sad story ...
Jack's owner brought him to the vet and wanted him to be euthanized. The vet did not want to euthanize because everything that is wrong with Jack is repairable & curable, and because Jack is the sweetest and most loving dog. He needed someone to save him and the vet reached out to us, and of course, we said yes. The owner agreed to sign over Jack to the vet, then to us, Sarah's Second Chance Dog Rescue.
Jack is so skinny, his ribs and spine are showing. Jack also has Lymes Disease, and as of today is taking medication, but the worst problem is, that Jack needs 2 surgeries, an ACL & FHO on both of his back legs. Yes, TWO surgeries! All Jack's blood work came back good, so why euthanize him? He still has a long life to live and give lots of loving to someone special.
We hate to ask, but we are going to need some help in funding for Jack's surgeries. The estimate for Jack's surgery is ($1662.50-1682.50 for one ACL and one FHO surgery), times two, so roughly, $3325.00 - $3365.00.
Any amount donated is never too little and we would be so forever thankful for your donation for Jack.
Love and Thank You from the bottom of our hearts,
Sarah's Second Chance Dog Rescue
