Jade Summit Disaster Recovery

Greetings Tea Community,

I have initiated this fundraiser for our dear friend  MJ Greenmountain, owner and operator of Jade Summit fine tea and antiques.

MJ's store front, located in Nevada City, CA, has been dealt a hard blow with the recent wave of weather storms we've been experiencing this past week in Northern California.  There has been significant flooding to the space and MJ has been struggling to get all of his precious teas and teawares to safety, accepting hands-on help from the local community whenever and wherever he can get it.  Gratitude and blessings to all who have reached out and contributed your time and energy!

There's more to be done, ALOT more!

Jade Summit is MJ's primary source of income to support his wife and two children.  The loss of business this past week, coupled with current and future recovery costs, has jeopardized the vitality of his business.  Therefore, I am calling out to anyone and everyone who can offer support to MJ and his family during this difficult time.   $5000 is what I estimated to be his overhead for a few months based on past business conversation.  This amount will be, at minimum, enough to mitigate some of the monetary damages he is and will be experiencing. 

This is an immediate need for an amazing guy and family, a genuine asset to the local and worldwide tea community that I hope we can all assist by offering what we can monetarily and physically (if you in the immediate area).
