Dog Attacked By Cougar

Attacked by a Cougar saving lives!!!JAG a fun loving dog with a bigger heart than anyone you have ever known.  loved being in the company of others, he's playful & beyond  extremely loyal.  

The morning of January 31 2017 JAG who lives down at Victor Lake with Merlin Hallock and her family, was walking with the kids and another dog to the bus stop so the kids could head into town for school.  When a Cougar came out and attacked JAG. Fortunately for everyone involved JAG was there. If it wasn't for JAG Merlin said it could have possibly been one of her kids or her other dog (Ruby).

JAG  got out alive but he is in very rough shape.  The Cougar has slashed the intire left side of his face almost completely through.  He was taken to the local Vet but then sent to Hinton to get better looked at and cleaned up.  He well be heading into Edmonton once he is stable and will have a long fight ahead of him.  the Vet informed us it will be atleast a months stay until recovery.

The medical bill is not going to be cheap and we are looking for any donations to help with this Hero's medical costs.
