Hey friends and family,
I have created this GoFundMe page because I am studying in Paris and Venice this summer! (and it's expensive)
What are you studying?
I am studying the arts! I am currently a Junior at USF, majoring in Studio Arts. In Paris, I will be exploring the city in search of artistic inspiration. The culture, the people, and the history are all new to me, and I expect that the experience will give me a new perspective to bring back to lil' old Tampa. Expect BIG THINGS to come from this trip!
How long will you be there?
The trip lasts for a month and a week. I will be leaving on May 31st and returning June 6th with many new stories and experiences!
Why the $800 figure?
Because Paris is expensive! Even with a tighter budget, my program coordinator suggests a minimum of $200 per week to cover personal expenses.
Attached below is an example price sheet of how much it might cost me. Keep in mind that I will be there for a WEEK LONGER than this comparison accounts for.
Shouldn't you have created this page a month ago if you are leaving on May 31st?
Yes, I should have. However, I was trying my hardest to acquire the right funds beforehand. I am hesitant to ask friends and family for money, but things have changed and I am in need of help.
Because I am posting this on such short notice, I really need to know how much support I am getting as soon as possible, to account for how strictly I must budget.
(can I afford the 2nd slice of cheese today?)
