Jane's Tuition & Ducklings

Donation protected
I am currently a student at Georgia State University studying Biology in order to become a veterinarian and living after the passing of both my parents is proving to be extremely difficult. Although I wish my mom and dad could have seen me graduate and get accepted into college, life had other plans for me.  When I was in 8th grade my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer and we moved to Carrollton, TX to recieve treatment. Thankfully, she successfully beat it, however, immediately after she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer which is a very rare cancer and unfortunately lost her battle. She passed away in March of 2013 after putting up a good fight and we moved into an apartment in Suwanee, GA with our dad. Our situation was already tough, but it got even worse when our dad passed away due to a heart condition in January of 2016. I am a freshman at GSU in Atlanta and live in a one bedroom apartment with my sister and rent is already stress enough. Together we are constantly trying to look at the bright side, but money is becoming a big issue for us.  Although pell grant helps with $2k a semester, the money coming out of our pockets to fufill the rest of the tuition is too much. Just last semester I had to pay almost $5k out of pocket, and because neither of my parents had life insurance it had to come out of my savings. I aspired to be a veterinarian with every bone in my body ever since I was a little girl and it would crush my dreams if I couldn't achieve my goal due to my unfortunate financial situation. If you believe in better education for everyone please help us to keep paying tuition and rent, even if it's a small amount. If you cannot directly help us please share my story with friends and family.

Currently I also have been taking care of a bunch of duck eggs that were abandoned by their mother. There are a total of 5 ducklings that are not born yet. When they hatch however another small portion of my money will be used to make sure they have constant food and survive. I didn't have to take on these ducklings and could have left them outside to be eaten by the stray cats, however I believe everything deserves a chance and didn't have the heart to let them die in front of my eyes. I have pictures and a video posted on my updates section if you wish to see and I will keep posting their progress.

Your donations make such a big difference even though it may seem small, so I thank you so much. There are many other gofundme accounts that you could donate to but thanks a bunch for helping me and my small family out.

Please help spread the word!
