Janet Lawson Tribute

Please join us in honoring Janet Lawson's career as a Grammy Nominated singer, teacher, mentor and friend. Janet thanks you with all her heart and soul for sharing the music and this spiritual journey.
Ms. Lawson is taking a sabbatical from her position as a founding vocal professor at The New School. Her students and musical collaborators are a who's who in the music world. The mark she has left on the music scene is indelible.
Your support will help Janet spend time close to her family in her native Baltimore and take a much needed rest so that she can quickly return to her teaching post at The New School.
We hope that you can attend the Janet Lawson Tribute at the HUC Minnie Petrie Synagogue May 15, 2017 from 7-10PM. There will be a world class lineup of musicians and former students performing and celebrating all that Janet is and has been to the jazz community and beyond. This event is free, so if you ARE or ARE NOT attending please contribute to this Go Fund Me campaign.
