Jason LaFountain Memorial Fund
Donation protected
Our dear friend and loved one Jason LaFountain (45), son of Terri LaFountain, brother to Jeff LaFountain, and friend and colleague to many people from coast-to-coast unexpectedly lost his life in a tragic car accident on May 30, 2019 on I-15 in California.
His family has suffered immensely emotionally and financially from this tragedy and the culmination of events leading up to it. Jason's family would GREATLY appreciate ANY contribution - however large or small - to cover his unexpected cremation and funeral costs that will go directly to his mother, Terri LaFountain. Jason's brother, Jeff LaFountain, is helping Terri recover from this unexpected loss and will be helping with all the arrangements.
Jason's family would also appreciate any positive stories, pictures, and good memories of Jason that you could contribute to his remembrance. You can leave these precious thoughts as a written memory, and you can also upload any photos that you may have here on this GoFund me site.
Jason was well known to all his friends and family as a fun, comical, light-hearted guy who didn't dwell on the serious side of life. He was a good storyteller, dirt bike rider, animal lover, and Motocross fan. Jason worked in the Motion Picture Industry for almost 25 years as a multi-faceted and talented teamster driver on many television and movies from California, New Mexico, and Georgia. He always made friends along the way, and he could be seen on many sets with a Coke, a smoke, and a smile.
Jason's friends will surely miss his sunny, carefree disposition and knack for making friends. Jason's family takes solace in knowing that Jason is at peace with God, and he is free from the battles he fought and lost in life. Jason leaves behind an ex-wife and teenage son who have been in regular contact with his family for the first time in years since his death; Jason's family is certain that this is the silver lining to the end of Jason's tragic story.
Jason's ashes will be spread on his favorite Motocross track in Southern California.
Rest in peace, Jason Daniel LaFountain, our brother, son, friend, and colleague. May you look after us here on earth.
