Jenna and the Boys

I am a single of two boys that make me proud every day. My oldest son is officially a high schooler this year. As a 4th grader he was diagnosed with autism and the school wanted to shift him out of mainstream classes and into special Ed just because he was difficult. I faught and continued every year and worked with him on social and coping skills and that same young man is starting high school with all honors classes. My youngest son also keeps me proud always an outstanding student and athlete. He starts 4th grade this year. I have my sights on my own graduation in January, due to a critical illness that required major surgery, it is many months later than originally planned.
I have always been the one everyone could turn to for a hand up just with the hope that they would pay it forward to someone if ever they are in the position to do so. I never expected to find myself in the position I have now (for a while now). I feel as though I am drowning and I just do not know what else to do but to ask for help. This time I am the one in need of a hand up.
For the 3rd year in a row due to illnesses and injury, I have (on top of monthly insurance premium) I have hit my very high out of pocket maximum. So, on top of everyday expenses, getting the boys ready for school, medical insurance, car insurance, medical bills, my own supplies, having spent $15,000 in lawyers fees expecting it to help with the $10s of thousands that my ex husband is behind in child support only to be worse off than before and still just have an IOU from the ex husband.
I really just need help to get my sons and I though this rough patch due to my delayed graduation, exponential medical, bills, groceries, get everyone back to school supplies and clothes.
So, I stand before you hat in hand humbly asking for your help if you are able. Those of you that know me, you know how very hard it is for me to make this request. If you are not able able to help us, just keep us in your thought and maybe one day you can be that hand up for some one else.
If you are in need of a hand up, obviously, I cannot help you financially, maybe, I can help you in some other way. You never know.
Take care of yourself, take care of each other, start a movement.
Much love and thanks,
Jenna Heinz
