Jenny Zivko’s Brain Cancer Battle

Donation protected
At this time, I come to you asking for support for Jennifer Zivko & her family as she battles brain cancer.  A loving, caring daughter, sister, aunt, niece, granddaughter & friend to many, this comes as an absolute shock and heartbreak.  Please send positive thoughts, prayers and, if you're able, donations through this site.

Unexpectedly, on July 20, 2015, Jenny was informed she has a brain tumor.  Just a few days later on July 24, Jenny was diagnosed with stage 4 Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM), the most aggressive form of brain cancer. After much research over the past few days, doctor recommendations, and the support of her family and friends, she has decided the best plan of action is to travel from Fort Lauderdale, FL to the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH.  She will immediately undergo major surgery to remove as much of the tumor as possible.  After surgery, she will have a long road ahead of her including radiation and chemotherapy.

For those of you who know the Zivko family, just three short months ago, they lost their youngest daughter/sister to another very aggressive cancer.  That being said, you can only imagine the anguish this wonderful family is going through.

Many people reading this in some way know Jenny, and without a doubt they would all describe her as one of the most genuinely kind and caring people they know.  A truly beautiful person inside and out - she doesn’t have a single bad bone in her entire body!  She is always supportive, optimistic and encouraging in all aspects of life and was the strongest fighter for her sister, Kim.  I can’t tell you how many times this week she has said how grateful she is for her friends and family – who she has dubbed “her army”.  Well, at this point, we need you all to join as soldiers!

It goes without saying; Jennifer will not be able resume work as a Realtor.  While insurance will cover some medical expenses, Jenny and her family will incur further expenses, including but not limited to the immediate costs of travel, relocating Jenny to Ohio and trial treatments.  Please keep in mind all donations help!

We are not allowing this diagnosis to cast a shadow on our outlook!  Jenny feels extremely lucky and blessed that there are trials with great success that she may be eligible for should the tumor recur after the initial rounds of treatment.

Thank you in advance for your support and donations.
