Jeremy Prince

Jeremy Prince of no fault of his own had an unfortunate accident at the racetrack on Saturday Nov. 3rd. He will be in the hospital for many weeks and will have many surgeries. Full recovery will be slow and will take a long time. During this time Jeremy will miss work. Being in construction, if you don't work, you don't get paid. He does not need to deal with this kind of stress while recovering. The Prince family has had a very rough year, first losing Granma Pam, now this. Jeremy spends countless hours after work and on weekends to make sure the racetrack is competitive and ready for the next race. While most of us are home eating dinner and spending time with the family, he is watering and grooming the track. Sometimes even in the dark. Due to the whole Prince family's sacrifices along with their good nature, Dixon Speedway offers the fans, the racers and their families a place to BBQ, hang out, teach the kids to ride quads and motorcycles or just relax and have good conversation. Jeremy loved hanging out and talking to everyone after the races. Racing and seeing people enjoying the fruits of his hard labor is what kept him going. Now it is time for the racing community to come together and help him. A small payback for his selfless commitment. We all want him back as soon as possible. Back with that big smile on his face. Last thing he needs to worry about right now is trying to pay his bills. He needs to take time to heal. Anything you can give helps, and if you can't, not a problem at all. Maybe just let him know you are thinking of him. It's a very traumatic time for the Prince family and right now, a bunch of small things adds up to a great big help. Now is the time to show our support for Jeremy and the Prince family.  Let's all hope for a full and quick recovery. We will all see you (Jeremy) soon. Rest up.
