Jesse Flood Support Fund

Donation protected
On December 28, 2016 Jesse Flood was seriously injured at work. He broke his femur, his knee, fractured his skull in multiple places, and had a small bleed in his brain. After a week, Jesse was released from the hospital. Then, tragically, while recovering at home in Acton, Jesse had a massive hemorrhagic stroke from his prior injuries.

Thanks to life-saving transport and emergency surgery, Jesse survived but remained in a coma for several days. The extent of the damage from the stroke is severe and Jesse’s recovery will be a slow and grueling long-term process. We are hopeful because Jesse is making small gains every day. However, Jesse will require continuous, extensive care in a rehabilitation facility in Massachusetts for at least a year.

We ask for your help in supporting Jesse and his wife Katherine during this devastating time. All donations will go towards the substantial portion of Jesse’s medical expenses that will fall outside insurance coverage and to support Katherine so that she can continue to help care for Jesse each day while he is hospitalized.

Katherine and Jesse were married on August 6th of last year and were planning to take their honeymoon this February. Not a day has gone by where Katherine was not by Jesse’s side. Please help us stand behind them now.
