Jesse's Scout Jamboree

Hi I’m Jesse McAuley. I'm a Scout from Kinross Scout Group, in Perth, Western Australia. I want to raise $6 950 to go to the 2019 World Scout Jamboree. This will be a once in a lifetime chance for me and my friends to experience many different cultures to enrich our lives. In 2019 the World Jamboree is taking place in West Virginia, America.

There will be rafting, rock climbing, and much more. It will be a chance to converse with people from all over the world

We will also have to do lots of fundraising and so my brother, Isaac, and I are setting ourselves some challenges.

Here are some ideas:

  - $5 for a simple challenge (e.g. stand on my head!)
  - $10 for a small challenge (e.g. stand on my head ice bucket challenge!)
  - $20 for a medium challenge (e.g. a day without electronic devices :-( )
  - $50 for an intense challenge (e.g. 3 days prepare and cook all my own food)
We are open to suggestions for other challenges.

We are going to be working really hard doing lots of fundraising – sausage sizzles, selling chocolates, and we will be trying to get donations from local community. We will let you know how we are going!

All additional funds will either help allow my brother to go to the Australian jamboree or to my fellow scouts raising money to go.
