This account was created in memory of our BROTHER, Officer Jesse Tarplin.
On December 12, 2015, Senior Police Officer Jesse Tarplin was killed in a off-duty motorcycle accident during a funeral procession.
Officer Tarplin had been serving and protecting citizens while working for the Marta Police Department for more than eleven years. He was also a former standout football player, and a Georgia Tech Alumni.
Officer Tarplin was a humble servant who was loved by everyone he met. He treated everyone with respect and kindness.
Officer Tarplin leaves to cherish his memory, his beautiful wife and kids, immediate/extended family, friends and brothers and sisters of the Blue Line. Special thanks goes out to all of you who have been keeping the Tarplin family in your prayers, as well as those who are able to contribute to this fundraiser for our Brother's Family.
Thank you Officer Tarplin for the many fond memories, laughs, and deeds. That smile will FOREVER burn in our hearts.
Mrs. Tarplin has NOT solicited a formal request for any financial assistance. The financial assistance will be used to assist his family during this Holiday Season. This effort is being put forth SOLELY and VOLUNTARILY by Officer Tarplins's brothers and sisters of the Blue Line.
