Hello, my name is Gary Bardwell. I am the Father of Jessie Merle Garner Bardwell.
My Beautiful daughter Jessie was murdered in Richardson, Tx in May 2016. This has devasated mine, her family and friends world. Jessie was a beautiful, sweet, kind, loved life, just a beautiful soul, and always smiling young lady.
I have written a song for Jessie called "Taken Away". I would like to raise money to have this song recorded in a Recording Studio and have the song distributed all across the United States. The reason I would like to do this is to raise awareness of domestic violence towards Women and Children.
What I would like to do with the money is cover the recording cost and distribution of the song and open a Safe House for Women and Children that are in dangerous relationships. I would like to name the Safe House. "Jessie Merle's House.
I would like to start the recording of the song "Taken Away" process as soon as possible and start on the Safe House within the next 12 months. Starting a Safe House is a long process. You have a house, guidelines, insurance, rules and regulations, city codes and the Safe House has to staffed with people that are trained in these areas.
This means the world to me because, I loved my daughter more than anything in this whole world. To me this would mean that her memory would live on and also it would help others in need of help to get out of bad situtions. I also believe that this song would give some comfort to other families that have been through the same horrific, life changing sitution.
