Jess’ Job Hunt

I’m Jess, I’m 19 and I live in Brighton.
Recently I’ve had some media attention, focussing on my unjust dismissal from my previous job. This all started when my dad posted about the situation on Twitter, in an attempt to reach out to people and businesses in the local area and hopefully find me a new employer.
Despite applying to plenty of jobs, having a few interviews, and working hard on my CV with the help of my local job centre, I’m still having no luck and have been out of employment for 2 months now. I’ve got plenty of skills and qualifications, so hopefully things will work out soon - but in the meantime, times are tough!
Living with my parents; 4 younger siblings; another sibling on the way; a cat and my own house bunny Henry means that there’s a lot of pressure being put on mine & my parents’ minimal income, making it pretty hard to get by.
I wouldn’t be starting this page if I didn’t have to do it, so any contributions are greatly appreciated and will go towards.....
- traveling to interviews
- suitable clothing for interviews
- insurance for my car
- potential training opportunities
- and last but not least, helping my parents to provide for the family
