Support the women of Jilkminggan NT
Donation protected
Hi! We're Enterprise Learning Projects, an innovative not-for-profit who support Aboriginal people in remote communities to start and grow their own micro-enterprise… we need your help!
We’ve just launched a clothing donation drive to support Aboriginal women in the remote Northern Territory of Jilkminggan, helping them launch their own social enterprise. Clothing donation go toward setting up a pop-up Op-Shop in Jilkminggan, all funds from goods sold will be used to kick-start small businesses focused around sewing and print making, at the newly established Arts Centre.
We have a had an overwhelming response, with pledges for clothing donations streaming in from all over Australia… amazing!! Some people also want to donate funds, so we have established this GoFundMe page in response. The extra funds raised will go towards buying second hand building materials to create clothing racks, coat hangers and other items needed to fit and house the clothing at the Arts Centre. Plus extra sewing machines and a couple of overlockers would really make a huge impact. We will establish the Pop-Up shop in early April.
By donating you are empowering not only the women of Jilkminggan, but helping to create a thriving and resilient community for all. Any contribution is very much appreciated.
