Jim Mendoza: Midwestern Miracle

The Mendoza family needs your help!
Big Jim was lost in a North Dakota blizzard for two days. Freezing temps, drifting snow, and closed freeways, yet he survived. Jim is a strong man, but with a body temperature dropping to under 90°, he would not have made it without the help of a kind stranger. That stranger was a linesman who spotted Jim in his buried vehicle and helped him get to medical care.
Staff at a Casselton clinic connected him to his worried wife, Vicki, and rushed Jim to an ICU in Fargo to be treated for hypothermia. Unfortunately, it was also discovered that Jim has stage IV renal cell carcinoma. This cancer started in his kidneys and has spread to his brain. The diagnosis came on Jim's 59th birthday.
Jim is home now, back in Scandia, MN with Vicki and their daughters, Erin and Jamie. The Mendoza's are a strong family, but, just like Jim in that ditch, they will need help. They will do the hard work of fighting the disease, which includes a brain surgery, what you can do is donate here, and continue sharing this story.
Family, Friends, Neighbors, and Kind Strangers: Please help out this family. Thank you!
