The Hike Across America

Hello,
My name is Musunga Mubuso. My good friend Jacob Whedbee and I are going on a backpacking adventure across America. Although it is an incredible chance to bond, it's also a fantastic opportunity to take time to reflect on ourselves and enjoy life and nature before we get too busy with school and work. 

We are already saving money up as is, however we thought it would be good to involve our friends, family and others. We have the majority of our gear and supplies already. The money will be primarily used for sustenance throughout the trip. In this way people will be directly involved by bringing food to the table.

The backpacking trip will start in early November and will end April - May depending on weather conditions seeing as how we plan to be going from Atlanta, Georgia to San Diego, California.
