Family Support for Joaquin "Byrd"

Psalms 22:24 for he has not despised or scorned the suffering of the afflicted one ; he has not hidden his face from him, but has listened to his cry for help.
Hello and thank you for reading our page. I myself have read several, but never thought I would be writing one.
On February 4, 2017 our Family lost a part of our hearts. My Nephew Joaquin Byrd, the baby boy of my Sister Marie Tavernier.
Joaquin was about to graduate from Skyline high school in June 2017, in Oakland California. We were very proud of him.
A loving Son, the best big brother a sister would want, a Nephew that was loved deeply...and boy is he going to be missed by his Cousin's . He will be missed by his girlfriend, and his loving friends and family.
As parents, we are not prepared for such a tragedy, and definitely not by somebody else's hands.

Sometimes you will never know the true value of a moment until it becomes a memory.
