Joe Gillispie is a longtime servant of the Lubbock County and Lubbock Cooper Community. He is known for his ever-present smile and cheerful, helpful attitude. Everything Joe does, he does with pride, from keeping the Lubbock Cooper school grounds beautiful to keeping our families safe as a 20 year Woodrow Volunteer Firefighter. If you don’t know Joe, it’s only because you haven’t yet crossed his path- he’s never met a stranger and he makes friends and helps everyone everywhere he goes.
The tables have turned and now he needs our help. Joe has been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. Joe is a fighter and if you want to help him in his fight, you are invited to participate in any way you feel led.
