John Thawley

Many people have requested information about John’s final arrangements.  Flowers are not necessary and heartfelt sympathy is.  John was flat on his back for the last 45 days of his life.  He was unable to take his beloved pictures or wield his magical verbiage in his posts.  Many of you do not realize how much you made his days of suffering worthwhile.  I need to express how much Marlon’s tennis career was important to him and how he worried he had let Marlon down.   We all know that Marlon loved and appreciated John.  So in lieu of flowers or donations to charity I am asking if you could donate that flower expense or charity donation  to Marlon’s college fund.   Thanks John’s sister Diane.
