John's Court Case

This year at the 8th Annual World Naked Bike Ride, I was singled out of the group as we were preparing for the bike ride.  I was given a ticket and the cost of defending this ticket is $1000 for attorney fees.  This is a civil rights issue since it was part of a protest for body freedom, cyclist vulnerability and against oil dependence.  Since this was the World Naked Bike Ride and it was widely advertised including on the radio, people should have expected to see nude people.  

I believe that fighting this ticket will help body freedom in Houston as well as making a case for the acceptance of mere (non-sexual) nudity.
