Toyota Prius for Veteran with PTSD

Hi my name is John and I am 32 years old. I joined the Navy when I was 20 years old. I joined to better my life and to fulfil some life goals. Two of my major goals were education as I wanted to goto school for the IT field. I also wanted to create a good foundation in life to marry and support a family. I joined on June 14th 2005. Unfortunately on October 31 2005 I was in the shower on my ship when I was raped by a male. My life was threatened daily after in regards if I told anyone I would be killed and thrown over board. I did everything I could to get out of the situation and became suicidal. I was honorably discharged on December 7 2005. I was too embarrassed and ashamed about what happened and still frightened for my life I never told a single person of the event until Febuary of 2017. Between the 10 year span I dealt with ptsd, depression, social anxiety. It has effected my trust with men. It has effected my relationships as I am still single and no family. It has effected my goals in life and my relationship with family as I stay distant from every one around me. I recently came out and told my past and am now getting the help I need. I currently drive for Lyft and enjoy the flexibility and it is teaching me to be social and trusting again. I have been renting a car through lyft/hertz but it cost me a little over $900 a month. I can't seem to stand on my feet. I also do not have good credit so buying and making payments on a car with out a cosigner has been impossible. I am hoping that through gofundme I can get a Toyota Prius to drive for Lyft to help me get on track with my goals I had long ago. I appreciate any and all the help I can get and thank you so much for taking the time to read my story. Price is $17,517 after taxes and everything on a used 2014 Prius from car max. Driving for Lyft has helped me with my PTSD. I am able to learn to be more social and meet new friends while working.
