Join Hershel's Fight Against Heartworms

Hershel is the sweetest boy. He loves walks, treats, and playtime. His favorite thing to do is jump in bed and “cuddle attack” you.

I found Hershel at Catoosa county animal control in February after a hard winter of mourning my previous baby. He is 6 years old and was surrendered by his previous owner. They didn’t treat him well. He isn’t neutered, he had most likely never been to a Vet.

When I took him to the Vet they confirmed to me that he was Heartworms disease positive. I was devastated. I’ve given him 3 months of normal dog life, and now we begin the journey of his treatment. Treatment can range upward of $1k. I need help affording his treatment. I don’t make much as is and want to help him. Anything and everything is appreciated. Thank you.
