JON STRONG

Hi my name is Jon.  At the age of 31, I was recently diagnosed with stage lll testicular cancer. Unfortunately, the cancer spread to my left kidney forming a 10 CM teratoma tumor and then spreading to my lungs. I am currently on my last round of chemotherapy out of 16 weeks. Chemo is working, but the tumors are not shrinking. Since the tumors are not shrinking, I will have to go to MD Anderson for the next round of surgerys and a higher dosage of chemotherapy. Apparently I have a very rare form of testicular cancer that only 1% of people get. Currently, I am in-&-out of the hospital getting blood transfusions and more platelets because all my blood counts drop due to chemotherapy killing the good and bad cells. It takes a toll on my body. :(

I really appreciate my family and friends who have added me to their prayer groups and help me stay positive.  These past few months have been tough, but I'm going to make it because I have an awesome fiancé, great family and super supportive friends!
