The Pennsylvania History and Museum Commission has granted to me permission and the priviledge to order the manufacture and installation an historical marker. It will be located on the site of is childhood home which is now the location of Canonsburg's borough building. Letterman attended Jefferson College which was located in Canonsburg.
The cost of the historic marker, which includes a metal post and a metal plate with information on it is $1850. There are installation and dedication ceremony costs.
The date of the installation is November 11, 2017 9:30a and the dedication service will recognize Jonathan Letterman, his work and his legacy which includes civilian first responders to emergency situations, and military veterans and those now serving in the armed forces of the United States.
