Jose's Cancer Journey

Jose was diagnosed with lung cancer in October 2018 which began what has felt like a very long journey already and its only been a few months. She is a strong woman who doesn't complain, doesn't want to inconvenience people, and wants to be the one helping other people. She is handling this cancer with such grace and continues to crack jokes in the midst of it all. Jose has been through multiple biopsies, brain radiation treatments, intense spine surgery, outpatient surgery, multiple rounds of chemo and immunotherapy, blood transfusions, x-rays, hospital stays, and countless MRIs and CT scans. We as a family (her husband and daughters) honestly feel a little awkward about this. We've always taken cues from our wife/mother and try to be the helper like she is even though we can't come close. But at the same time, we are also in awe of the countless number of people who have sent cards, brought meals, offered anything and everything, and asked if there is a way they can walk this journey with us financially. Thankfully, Bob has been blessed with a great job and great healthcare benefits, but there are still medical bills that have come in. So if you want to help, here is how. We are all forever grateful.

Note: Any funds given after 2/19/19 may also be used to pay for funeral expenses, unless designated by the donor to only be used for medical expenses.

Danielle MacGray (Emily's older sister and Jose's daughter) will be responsible for using all funds to pay Jose's expenses.
