Jose's Funeral & Memorial Expenses

It is with great sadness that our family announces the unexpected passing of Jose Correa. He was a kind and loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother, and friend. He was a hard dedicated worker and was his family's rock. He was married for 40 years. He and his wife were going to renew their wedding vows at a church this June. About a year ago he underwent a successful open heart surgery. I remember he was so worried about the hospital bill right before they took him in the operating room. He even thought he was ready to go back to work as he was still on the hospital bed. We laughed about it during his recovery. This is the type of person he was, very hardworking and never wanted to miss a day of work. He was his family's sole provider. 

On the morning of February 22nd he was fatally shot before going to work. This is such a tragedy and we are trying to cope with this great loss and hope that we find justice for Jose and our family. He didn't deserve to pass this way. The tragedy is still under investigation. This process is not only emotionally distressing, but it is a great financial burden to his wife and family.
