Josiah Chacha Burrial Services

We still cannot believe our beloved Josiah is no longer with us!  Sadly, with deepest heart, early Tuesday Morning (May 29th, 2018) Josiah passed away from pneumonia complicated by an infected gallstone.  He died at the young age of 37.  Josiah moved to the United States when he was 17 years old   to pursue his college education (Heston College and American International College) and later on worked at C&S Wholesale Grocers.  Plans are made for his final resting place to be in his home country, Tanzania to allow for his whole family to participate in his burrial ceremony. For us in here in the U.S,   a memorial/wake will be held this Saturday June 2nd, 2018 at the Curran O’Brien Funeral Home in South Hadley from 2-5pm. June 2nd is a special day because it would've been his 38th birthday and everyone is encouraged to come and celebrate his life.  As you can imagine, funeral costs can be very expensive and even more when we are planning to transport the body overseas.  We need your support with whatever little you have to offset funeral costs (funeral home services) and transport/processing costs for his body from here to Dar-es-Salaam.
His love for his family was unquestionable. Always a jokester as he wanted to make those around him feel comfortable. Please feel free to share your fond memories of Josiah in the comment section.  We will periordically post changes/ updates on this page .
