LEO NEEDS A THIRD OPPORTUNITY
Donation protected

Leonardo Ibarra is a 6 year old boy. In August of 2014 he was diagnosed with Leukemia ALL, after a few months he managed to enter remission and received treatment for just under a year but in July of 2015 had a relapse and doctors said he needed bone marrow transplantation. In a hospital in El Paso, Tx. Was going to start treatment but in that hospital they do not do bone marrow transplants. So we were looking for a hospital in Orlando, Fl. And there he was accepted for treatment. In October of 2015 the treatment began and the marrow transplant was scheduled for February of 2016, the donor was its own brother; Unfortunately in April they gave us the news that the transplant had not worked that we had to start chemotherapy for another transplant. In that same month, started treatment to get it remitted and another new transplant was scheduled for October, in which I was his father the donor this time, in November we are informed that the second transplant did not work either. Unfortunately on December 1, 2016, Leonardo suffered hydrocephalus because the leukemia returned to the cerebrospinal fluid. He is currently being treated for remission and seeking a third chance of salvation, because of his status Leonardo is in bed where he receives his physical therapies and chemotherapy. For this reason we are asking for your support since the hospital stay is very long and heavy. God bless you all. Please include Leonardo in your prayers. Thank you
