Justice for Anchor
Donation protected
On April 1 2018 I was driving home from work I
saw a dog lying in the road. As I passed he raised his head and looked right at me. I had assumed he had been hit by car and was deceased.
He was bleeding from his eye and nose and had a lump on his head. I took him to an Emergency Vet and contacted a local rescue who graciously stepped up for him. Upon examination it was discovered that he had been shot in the head and a bullet was lodged deep in his brain. He was estimated to be 13 years old with other health issues as well. It was decided that the kindest thing
was to let him go. We named him Anchor.
He knew love and kindness at the end. I will be filing a police report in the morning and also have been contacted by local media wanting to do a story. I would like to raise money for a reward fund
someone knows something in 13 years someone knew this dog. If no one steps up with info on the perpetrator then money will be donated to the rescue that tried hard to save his life.
