Justice For Butchie

April 5th,  Diante Yarber also known as Butchie was killed by Barstow Police Department in the parking lot of the Super Walmart located in Barstow, CA leaving an entire community in disbelief. Butchie had an upbeat attitude, a great sense of humor, and a smile that brightened an entire room. His presence was the heart and soul of so many individuals as he was very well-known and loved unconditionally. Butchie has left behind three beautiful daughters, two older sisters, a younger brother, and a plethora of relatives and childhood friends who loved him dearly. This loss is an tradegy to an entire community of people.  Butchie did not deserve the overkill of twenty plus bullets being shot at him for a wrongful death by the injustice acts of police officers. We have lost another Black man to the system and it’s extremely saddening to witness so close to home where violence as such has never happened in such a small town. We are raising donations to support his older sister Ruby Hawkins also known as Nae as she’s left to bury another family member. Nae is only left with her three children, a sister, and two brothers as she has already lost a mother, father, husband, and two brothers with Butchie being one of them in such recent times. As we know, there’s nothing that will ease the pain when you have a good amount of your immediate family gone so soon, but with love and support we can make a way to send our beloved son, father, brother, relative, and childhood friend to the man upstairs in the best way we remember him as well as sending our condolences to the family.
