Roxsana Hernandéz was 33 years old when she died while in ICE custody on May 25th, 2018. She was seeking asylum in hopes of finding refuge and safety in the US but instead was detained by Customs Border Protection (CBP) before being transferred to Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE) and then passed away in a New Mexico hospital.

Help us raise the funds to be abel to send Roxsana's body back to her home country Honduras (repatriation) and help her sisters pay for the all funeral services. 

I am working with Familia: Trans Queer Liberation Movement and the Transgender Law Center to raise funds to help Roxsana's family pay for all the funeral services and support the family. We will be sending the money directly to the family soon. I am based in Los Angeles and I am queer community member that has been closely supporting the family since the news of Roxsana's death.
