In October, Justin was diagnosed with pre-cancerous cysts in his pancreas, and his surgeon recommended an advanced procedure to have those removed as a precaution against pancreatic cancer.
On November 10th, Justin underwent his surgery, it's called a Whipple procedure. It is a complicated surgery that took over 9 hours to complete that day.
For the next 17 days, Justin remained in the hospital where he could receive the critical care that he needed, around the clock. It was a long 17 days for Justin, especially at this time around the holidays.
Finally, on Sunday, November 27th, Justin was able to return home. He is receiving home health care, and his rehabilitation is expected to take at least two more months or more before he can return to work.
As you can imagine, being without an income for three months would be a burden to anyone, not to mention the bills for surgery, the lengthy hospital stay, the medications, and the home health care.
For those of you that really know Justin, you know that he is the first one to volunteer to help a friend, or family member in need. This time, it's Justin that needs our help. Anything you can do would be greatly appreciated by Justin.
My name is Steve Noel, and I am Justin's Dad. I want to thank those of you that may have helped Justin out four years ago when he won his battle with Testicular Cancer. I sincerely hope he does not have to go through anything like this again, and I truly appreciate your help for Justin!
