Newly Paralyzed Active Father of 3

Justin Raulerson is a 30 year old father of 3 young children ages 4, 2 and 11 months. He has been happily married to his childhood sweetheart for 6 years now. A couple of weeks ago he was involved in a tragic accident on his way home from work. His injuries are extensive. He suffered from a complete spinal injury at T12 and was told he would never walk again. In addition to that devastating news, all of his ribs were broken, both lungs collapsed and ventilator dependent so they gave him a tracheostomy. After 12 days he finally woke up only to realize he could not feel anything below his belly button. This was heartbreaking because every time he woke up over the next several days he relived this tragedy over and over. Justin is the most kind hearted, loving, loyal person I have ever had the privilege of knowing. He is a family man, a father first and foremost, a husband, a brother, a son, and a friend to many. He is the kind of person who you can talk to for 5 minutes and feel like you've known him a lifetime. He is my little brother, however he has been my rock many times over the years. When our youngest brother got the terrible diagnosis of Lymphoma, Justin uprooted his family from Florida, his wife and child and moved to Philadelphia, where they had the best treatment, to live in a camper so he could remain at his brothers bedside during his 6 months of chemotherapy. That is the kind of man Justin is, faithful and true. We believe in miracles and we have hope. But this new adjustment to life is going to be a long and painful road. Right now we are trying to focus on getting Justin the best most aggressive physical rehabilitation possible, most of which insurance will not cover. On average a new spinal injury will cost $500,000 in the first year alone. So it is for that reason we are searching for help from kind hearted individuals such as yourself.
