Million Dollar $cholars Kagman High

We, the Million Dollar Scholars, are a select group of seniors at Kagman High School, Saipan, who have a goal to be awarded more than one-million dollars in college scholarships in the mainland U.S. We will study together, travel together, and attend university together. We have banded together to overcome the obstacles which have traditionally impeded students from higher education off-island: poverty, distance, loneliness, and procrastination. 

The money from this campaign will be used to pay for pre-college expenses such as passport fees, application fees, plane tickets, and travel items (suitcases, climate appropriate clothes, etc.) The money will be shared equally among the 21 students who started this club and are leaving island for school. This high school club has a president, vice president, and 4 financial officers who are overseeing this campaign. Our faculty advisor is Mr. Gerard van Gils. 

We know that donating money online can make people nervous. All financial donations are routed through our club account at the school to ensure that the money is spent according to the (above) statement of purpose. Still, this is a publicly shared cite so we understand reluctance or fear of misuse of funds.
