Help me Help her

Donation protected
I may stare at this screen quite a while trying to convey a unique (to me) need. I cant help but recall the scam that was reported on TV ($20 homeless guy).

Jo Wilczek (SrMsgt ret.), veteran of 29 years in the 3rd year of treatment for lung cancer. I am her support human.  Feb. 18th she will have a PET scan for the cancer, the third mass. This one a return of the original very near her spine two sessions of CyberKnife , followed with 6 1/2 weeks of daily radiation treatments and appears to have recovered from pneumonitis.  There was a second mass that appeared in a CT scan 6 mos after a prognosis of NED (no evidence of disease).  Next course of treatment will be chemo and immunotherapy (KEYTRUDA) not covered by TriCare, rumored at $6,000 a dose.

OK, on the right of this text entry box there is a list of HOW TO. I am at  "Explain how soon you need the funds" , umm now!

Next, "Tell how these funds will help you or your loved one".  Take a minute to go to the bathroom, or get coffee, or an adult beverage.

I am $13,000 + from paying off the mortgage on my property 13.7 acres east of San Antonio est. value $178,000.  It doesnt matter if the Keytruda was $10,000 a dose.  The last dollar if that's what it takes. I've had an offer to take over payments, really? So this is how you via gofundme can help.

#5- "Explain if there are other ways you need help".  It is clear that I no longer want this property but want to liquidate, to prepare for what is to come. Other ways? Early on in diagnosis the transmission went out in Jo's 02 Windstar. I got it patched for $1400 when the shops wanted $3500.  A couple months back going to radiation in steady rain the brakes went out. I didnt say a thing. I have gotten her to every appointment. Never late and joking  gotcha to the church on time again! Returning home she asked, " Why are you going so slow braking like that? Well honestly I said, the brakes went out right before we got on the highway going to your treatment. (Round trip across 2 counties) Thankfully that was a friday, I spent Sat/ Sun fixing the brakes. Jo was determined to help, so I asked if she would hand thread the lugs nuts on. Then she pumped the brakes while I bled them. I have not told her the "Patch" on the transmission has failed and on its last leg.

#6- "Tell potential donors how urgent your situation is." Well  DUH I aint gonna do that. I am going to explain "THE PLAN!"

1st- with your help pay off the mortgage on my land. 2nd $2000 to a lawyer (wait for it). 3rd transportation. 4th sell my property. 5th relocate downsizing closer to her Doctors and treatments.

If it were possible I would take my mortgage payment book to the INEEDITBACK BANK.  Upside: a property a few doors away sold in 10 days for asking price above market value.

#2 Lawyer $2000 for him/her to supervise repayment of  every donation from the proceeds of my property sale, in full or minimum deficit.  Yep, thanks and I am paying you back best I can.

In closing, returning from a treatment stopping at walmart there was this panhandler in a walker/chair with an illegible sign.  On the way out I asked Jo if she wanted give him $5 I took from my wallet. She did and lit up when he told her he was a Veteran. I remarked let's hope what goes around comes around.

Thanking you, if only for your prayers and sharing or tweeting this story (link).
