Middle School Robotics Championship

Dutch Fork Middle School's robotics teams are going to the world championship!!!  After a long and demanding season this amazing group of 13 and 14 year old youth have won the right to represent Dutch Fork Middle School and South Carolina at the VeX World Championship against teams from all over the United States as well as Asia, South America, and Europe. 


Having one team reach the world championship is fantastic but having two teams qualify is even beyond what the schoold district expected (and budgeted for).  The total cost to send two teams is just about $10,000 and the district can only cover a portion of that cost.

Funds will be used for registration, vehicle rental, fuel costs, hotel reservations, and food for each of the ten students attending.


The tournament is in mid April 2016, so it is critical that we get the funds set aside right away.  This competition means to the world to these kids.  They have dedicated their nights and weekends for past several months to get to this point, sacrificing time with friends and other hobbys to be able to compete at this level.  We really don't want money to be the primary reason they can't attend.
