Help Bettie's Family with Funeral
Donation protected
We reached our goal for Ms Jones' family and her funeral services. Thank you to each and everyone of you who contributed to the fundraising efforts in this difficult time. The family sends their gratitude and appreciation to all of you.
Early Saturday morning, December 26th, Chicago police officers responded to a call of a domestic disturbance. Bettie Jones was answering the door and letting the police officers into the building when they opened fire and killed her.
Ms. Jones, just 56 years old, was a mother of five and a member of Action Now. We are working with the family to seek justice for her death and help with funeral expenses.
