Hello everybody! :)
I am currently a sophomore at Grand Valley State University studying Political Science. I will be traveling to Prague, Czech Republic in the Fall to continue my studies at Charles University. I am so excited and grateful for this opportunity God has given me! I have always dreamed of experiencing the world (cliche, I know), and the timing has never been better. By chance I stumbled upon this program through a provider called USAC (University Studies Abroad Consortium). This program is more independent than other programs through Grand Valley, but it fits perfectly with both my personal and career goals. I think my roommates are officially sick of proofreading application essays and watching me geek out over every little program detail. I will be taking Czech language courses as well as courses for my major in European politics, history, and culture. Family and friends, I am about to embark on the journey of a lifetime and I am asking for your support. Whether that is in the form of monetary donations, prayers , or sharing advice from your own experience abroad, I welcome it.
The entire cost of this experience totals just over $13,000. I am hoping to raise enough money to cover the program fee-- $6,980. I would greatly appreciate any amount you can donate towards this experience. No donation is "too small" to matter, every dollar counts! Even if I cannot reach my goal, I will forever be grateful for any help I may receive.
