Kai's Ocean education display's
Donation protected
Hello we are Tris, Dave and Dior, just recently we lost our very much loved son and brother Kai. He was only 17, but in those years he accomplished many great things. He home schooled himself, was becoming a great underwater photographer, sailed nearly the planet, 34 countries in his passport, saved countless animals, helped people, awsome freediver and so much more. We are asking those that would like to show their respect to kai to donate instead of flowers or other. He would much prefer we made a project possible. With his huge passion for the ocean his life should continue as an example for others to learn, enjoy and protect. So with your heartfelt donation we would like to create The Nice (Nomuka Island Conservation Environment)
Kai Discovery Centre. It will be a building on the fore shore of Nomuka with permanent information/display boards for the Island of Nomuka where he spent much of his time. The signs will use Kai's own photo's as much as possible and educate the locals and visitors on subjects such as. The local fishing regulations, Facts about marine ecosystems and The future of our oceans and how we can be proactive. The Discovery centre will be the hub for NICE Society to launch it's projects from. Projects like the development of a rubbish diposal programe , animal welfare and marine education for the community. Thankyou for helping Kai continue with his passion for the ocean, he makes us very proud and we miss him immensely.
