Kalyssa's Medical Fund

On Sunday May 20th, my darling niece was playing with her brother when the unthinkable happened.  She fell from an open window of a bedroom at her home.  When she fell, there was nothing to break her fall and she landed on the concrete below. The fall caused a fracture to her skull and her spine, as well as a loss of a good deal of blood.

She is now in the ICU waiting to undergo surgeries to repair what happened. The specialists have said that she will likely have to undergo more procedures in the future, in addition to multiple types of physical therapy.  We are unsure as of now, just how much damage has been done and how that will affect her future.

My brother and sister in-law are already incurring astronomical medical expenses in regards to the medical transportation that was needed, with ambulance rides and Lifeflight. While they have insurance, it will not cover a lot of the expenses that this family will now face with upcoming surgeries and therapy needed for the long recovery my dear niece will endure.

We are starting this campaign for them with the hope to help offset the cost of medical expenses so that they can focus on her recovery and not the cost of her care.  She has a very large medical team of doctors taking care of her very well.  But with that care comes bills from every provider and for every service provided.

Please help this family through this incredibly hard time so that Mom and Dad can focus on their daughter, and their sons as well, and not worry about what is to come financially.
