Kathryn's fight against cancer

Kathryn Jacoby is a 38 year old mother of three. She is a valued part of the online book community, a beloved sister, aunt and daughter, not to mention one of the best friend's a person could ask for. I have never encountered a more caring and giving individual. She is always trying to help others and now it is her that needs help from us.

On December 2, 2016, Kathryn was diagnosed Invasive Ductal Carcinoma (Breast Cancer). They do not know the actual stage yet, but clinical stage is 2 (based on what they've seen so far). She will undergo a full bilateral mastectomy.  Her insurance isn't the greatest and she has already had to pay out of pocket for several things. Jason has had to take time off work to take her to appointments and be with her as they all try to cope and come to terms with the journey that lies ahead for their family. They have limited income and I cannot imagine the financial strain this will put on their household.

If we can all come together to help Kathryn and her family in these hard times, and the even harder times to come, I know it would mean the world to them. It doesn't have to be a large donation, anything will help. We want to just lighten the load and give them one less thing to worry about, so they can focus on fighting this difficult battle.
