Katie's Recovery Equipment Fund

So this little girl is Katie Fanning Coogan and she's 10 years old. She can't walk or talk. She also has impaired vision and has had surgeries to improve her quality of hearing. She only has one working lung and a multitude of other problems, but she's an absolute pleasure to be around and she's everything to her family.

She lives as normal a life as you can imagine for a child under these circumstances. She goes to school, she watches TV (mostly Peppa Pig ) and she loves music.

So all the problems listed above are not even why we're here. We're here because this.

That is an X-Ray of this little girls spine that has to be operated on in the near future and we're raising funds for a specially made changing table and a wheelchair ramp and further disable access features to be added to her house.

If we manage to raise the funds to pay for these features any additional funds will be used to fund her hospital transportation and things like her specially designed wheelchair and car seats etc.

Katie is going in for an MRI scan at the end of August (which was moved forward from the original date of October due to her mothers overwhelming perseverance) to see if there is any other surgeries that may have to take place before they have to work on her spine which only piles more stress financially and mentally on her mother.
